That was a great session yesterday at Learning Lab 2 and I am realy looking forward to the next in Lancaster. Both Ian and Charlotte spoke about feeds - RSS feeds in fact, which is a great way for people to receive content (your news, audio or video) to their google account or to iTunes or to a myriad of other devices (such as TV 2.0) So everytime you post create/write a new item on your feed enabled website this creates a new item which i...... Katie Lips posted A new look at Mobile
Thanks to all Learning Lab 1 participants for a great day last week. Just to let you know I updated my presentation to include your feedback. It's now here on slideshare: http://www.slideshare.net/katielips/l...
Katie Lips: Hi Neil, I think wordpress has a plugin to create a mobile version of your blog if users are on mobile devices (not all devices but some). (If that is what you mean). Also winksite converts web content to WAP and older mobile formats in a useful way!
Neil Morrin: You don't need a iPhone I recently downloaded the shoZu application for my old Sony Ericsson mobile completely for free. It allows me to post to twitter, wordpress, facebook, blogger etc. etc. etc. I can now photoblog, twit, etc, etc, in fact do most of my online stuff on the move. Including using it as a normal phone..... So if you are worried about spending a fortune buying a new phone - download the application that suits your phone and test it out to see how much you might use it before that big investment.
Stu Robarts: What do you make of the N97 Katie?! No Apple apps store but looks pretty impressive in every other department :-)
